Acceptable Use Policy

To keep Kego safe, honest, and reliable for all buyers and sellers, all users must adhere to these community standards and commercial conduct rules.

1. Scope and Enforcement

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all buyers, vendors, visitors, and partners interacting with the Kego Marketplace. Violations of this policy may lead to immediate suspension, account termination, forfeiture of escrow balances, and reporting to relevant statutory authorities.

2. Prohibited Products

Vendors are strictly prohibited from listing, marketing, or selling any of the following items:

• Counterfeit Goods: Replicas, knockoffs, pirated media, or unlicensed brand logos.
• Weapons & Explosives: Firearms, ammunition, tactical combat gear, and fireworks.
• Illegal Drugs: Narcotics, unverified prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
• Adult Materials: Pornography, sexually explicit media, and adult services.
• Hazardous Materials: Toxic chemicals, biohazards, and radioactive substances.
• Financial Instruments: Counterfeit currency, stolen credit cards, or unregistered securities.

3. Prohibited Marketplace Activities

3.1 Off-Platform Transactions ("Disintermediation"): Users and Vendors may not solicit or conclude sales outside the Kego platform to evade commission or circumvent escrow protection. Sharing off-platform bank accounts, personal phone numbers, or WhatsApp links to divert transactions is strictly forbidden.

3.2 Review Manipulation: Vendors are prohibited from submitting fake reviews, paying for fraudulent ratings, or creating synthetic buyer accounts to artificially boost rankings ("astroturfing").

3.3 Platform Abuse & Scraping: Deploying bots, scrapers, crawlers, or brute-force scripts against our APIs or database is strictly prohibited and protected by rate-limiting throttles.

4. Reporting Violations

If you encounter suspicious listings, counterfeit products, or fraudulent vendor activity, please notify our compliance officers immediately at compliance@kegoshop.com.
